RCV takes on new Trainee Apprentice

In February 2011, Craig joins RCV after completing his first year in Level 1 mechanical engineering at the Kent College. Craig, 17, is passionate about working on vehicles and seems to have a soft spot for the Land Rover products. ‘We must invest in home grown talent’ states Dave Barber, Director of RCV Ltd ‘ and I hope Craig is able to stick with training both we and the college offer, to become a fully qualified technician in 2 years time’. He continues ‘Despite the tricky times, it is not easy trying to find the right technician when dealing with the Land Rover product, and when Craig approached RCV for a trainee position, we immediately took to his positive mental attitude and natural communication skills’ At RCV, all members of the technical team have access to the Land Rover training centre near Coventry demonstrating RCV investment into both staff and the future of the product.
